■あらすじ
学校で利用者の少ない図書館の縮小が計画された。
本好きで、四六時中、図書館に入り浸る図書委員(穂読 京子)は、当然反対し、校長に直談判を決行した。
その結果、得られた条件が「利用者を増やすこと」……だった。
当たり前の話ではあるが、残念ながらその条件は、彼女にとって難門と言わざるを得なかった。
そう、当然、彼女自身以前から利用者を増やすため様々な計画を打ち出してきた。しかし、結果は、空振り。
スポーツ校で有名な本校に座って本を読むことが好きな生徒は極めて少なかった。
そんなとき、彼女は、ある生徒にアドバイスをしてもらう。
「魅力のあるものを貸し出せばいい」
彼女は、その生徒に言われるがまま、ある計画を実行する。
すべては、図書館を守るために……。
