今回の物語から時をさかのぼること
30年前、人類にとってある大きな出来事が・・。
その出来事とは宇宙人の来訪。
ペケーニャと呼ばれる異星人が突如地球へ訪れたのだ。
彼らは暮らす土地を求めていたらしく
その見返りに技術力の提供を人類に行った。
それから彼らと地球人との共生が始まる。
それから月日は流れ30年。
ある街外れの小道をミノルという青年と
プリアランのプティが歩いていた。
※このプリアランと言う生物はペケーニャの品種改良の
技術によって生まれた新種の生物。
ペットの知能も上がりリードをつけずに
散歩をさせるのが当たり前となっていたのが
災いしたのか、何かに導かれるようにプティが
他人の家の中に入り込んでしまった。
プティを連れ出そうと思ったミノルが
家の敷地内に足を踏み入れた瞬間体にある異変が・・・。
なんとアリ程の大きさに縮んでしまっていたのだ。
防犯システムも向上した世の中。
不法侵入の抑止策として不審人物を
縮小させる技術も開発されていた。
体を元に大きさに戻すべく敷地内から一度
出ようと後を戻るミノルの背後に巨大な指が迫る。
そして、巨大な指の持ち主に
捕まり家の中へ連れ込まれるミノル。
果たして彼はプティを見つけ
元の大きさに戻ることはできるのだろうか・・。
